Tours are of course on hold at the current time but as soon as the Irish government gives the go-ahead Peter’s Tours will be up and running – with lots of new-found knowledge – a byproduct of the Lock-in. N.B. we say lock-in as it has naughty but nice connotations of the session being so good that the pub landlord decides to lock everyone in (until official opening time) so as not to disturb the neighbours!
Normally Peter works as a Tour Director that is to say he is responsible for all connections and entrances and arrival/departure times and connections with the coach & hotels. As a tour guide he is also responsible for keeping all well and safe, together and entertained while informing on the surroundings and helping guests to understand something of the culture and history of the area.
An impromptu session started at the cathedral in Galway on my first ‘extended’ tour. Top of the World Ma!

Oooh my but this C-19 is dragging on a bit! But high hopes for the future – so many will be delighted to be able to get out and about and have real experiences again to treasure forever.
Counting down the days ’till we can fully engage again.
